The National Association of Federal Retirees family is deeply concerned about our members and all those affected by the wildfire burning through Fort McMurray.
“Like all Canadians, we are greeting news of out-of-control wildfire and the devastating toll it is taking on that community with utmost concern and our thoughts are with those affected,” said Federal Retirees Acting CEO, Debbie Bernhardt. “We are relieved by reports that the fire has not claimed any lives and our immediate hope is for everyone to remain safe.
“It is in dark times like these that the community of Federal Retirees stands together in a strong show of support. As individuals and families leave behind their homes and all their possessions, we hope that our support brings them a measure of comfort.”
