Our branch celebrates its 60th birthday on Sept. 18, 2024
We hope you are planning to join us on Wednesday, Sept. 18 to help us celebrate the 60th birthday of the Niagara Peninsula Branch! It’s a milestone birthday, and we’ve planned an event we hope you will enjoy
Agenda: Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024
- 11:00 a.m. — Doors open
- 11:30 to 12:00 p.m. — Welcome and branch business
- 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Lunch
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. — Celebration
We will have music by Carolyn Campbell and Ruth McVicar who added so much cheer to our Christmas celebration last year. Plan to sing along to music from the last 60 years.
We are excited by the fabulous items we have for draws. Our preferred partners have been very generous with us and so have some of our members who have donated items for the draws. You have to be there to win!
Lunch will feature an appetizer, berry-stuffed pork, dessert and coffee or tea. If any members have allergies or food sensitivities, please advise us and we will do our best, with the hotel, to accommodate any dietary needs.
Our branch is unique in that we meet once a month and have a speaker and a plated hot lunch. Let’s make our 60th birthday party a recruitment event to make sure our branch continues to grow and thrive. Bring an eligible friend or family member to the party!

If you are on a call list, please remember that if you tell your caller you will attend then decide not to attend without advising us the Sunday before the lunch, the hotel obliges the branch to pay for your lunch.
