Across the country, Federal Retirees’ volunteers are stepping up to support their communities, advocate for better policies and foster connection.
This National Volunteer Week, taking place from April 27 to May 3, Federal Retirees is proud to celebrate the incredible individuals who generously share their time and talent to champion our mission — and in doing so, help build a better future for retirement in Canada.
This year’s National Volunteer Week theme — Volunteers Make Waves — perfectly captures the spirit of our volunteer team. Like ripples across water, every action our volunteers take creates momentum that grows far beyond the moment. From one-on-one conversations with members to organizing election activities, their efforts multiply into lasting impact.
Together, our team of more than 900 volunteers helps raise awareness of the challenges facing today’s and tomorrow’s retirees. They contribute to policies and programs that promote dignity in aging. And they inspire others to get involved, creating waves of positive change that stretch across communities and generations.
As we mark National Volunteer Week 2025, we thank each of our volunteers for being part of this movement. Your time, compassion and commitment don’t just support our association — they help drive the future of retirement in Canada.
Looking for a meaningful way to participate? Volunteering with Federal Retirees connects you to a movement focused on healthy aging, stronger communities and positive change.
