National Volunteer Week takes place from April 18 to 24, 2021.
National Volunteer Week, April 18 - 24, is an opportunity to celebrate our volunteers and all the wonderful work they do every day. Even during this challenging time, the Federal Retirees volunteer team is stepping up to support the Association’s mission and build a better tomorrow for members and all Canadians.
The theme for National Volunteer Week 2021 is The Value of One, The Power of Many, which speaks to the magic that happens when we work together for a common purpose. We don’t have to look too far to see that magic in action – Federal Retirees’ Reach 338 network is a growing team of volunteers working to ensure that our advocacy message reaches all 338 federal ridings across Canada. Every volunteer who writes to an MP, organizes a meeting or participates in a campaign is essential because, together, our voice speaks to the entire country.
On behalf of the National Association of Federal Retirees and its members, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to our outstanding volunteer team. Happy National Volunteer Week!
