Sage, our quarterly magazine, is brimming with engaging and informative articles about issues that matter to members.
Further to Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guibeault’s recent announcement, the Canada Periodical Fund (CPF) is taking immediate action to get funding out to eligible Canadian periodical publishing companies as quickly as possible.
2019-2020 recipients of the Aid to Publishers component of the CPF will be awarded the same amount of funding for 2020-2021. This will allow the CPF to forgo the analysis period and release payments as quickly as possible. Given the exceptional circumstances, the CPF is prioritizing providing financial support as quickly as possible.
As a result, Sage magazine will be receiving a grant again this year.
“It is indeed gratifying to receive this level of recognition for our support of Canadian content creation and of the journalists who contribute to making Sage our flagship publication for member engagement,” said Federal Retirees President Jean-Guy Soulière. “I also want to recognize our Communications team at National Office who have been managing the production and publication of Sage in-house for the last four editions while driving down production costs and maintaining the high standard of quality expected from our readers.”
