The National Association of Federal Retirees Outaouais Branch invites you to a free breakfast conference for its members entitled: ”Fraud and Cyberattacks” to be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Cabane en bois rond (Giguère room). The conference will be given by Constable Anne Trottier of the Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) in French only.

From “grandparent” fraud to technology and romance scams, Anne Trottier, accompanied by Nancy Bonneau, a colleague from the SPVG, Nancy Bonneau, will cover a range of topics and hand out prevention tips. We welcome your participation and questions. Police officer with the SPVG since 2003, Ms. Trottier has dedicated 20 years of her career as an gendarmerie officer to responding to emergency calls. Improving and diversifying my service has always been her professional goal. To this end, she has received a host of ongoing training courses over the years. Since 2023, Ms. Trottier has been assigned to the Neighborhood Resolution and Preventive Actions section. Approaching crime from a preventive is her new passion. Don't miss this conference to better understand the issues surrounding fraud and cyber attack
