Notice regarding the Ottawa Valley Branch virtual AGM
Greetings from the National Association of Federal Retirees! On March 25, 2024, the Ottawa Valley Branch held its 2024 annual general meeting (AGM) at the Carleton Place Canoe Club. However, due to a lack of quorum, no official business could be conducted, and the AGM was postponed to a future date.
Please note that the Ottawa Valley Branch’s AGM will now be held online (via Zoom) on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 5 p.m. eastern time.
During this short meeting, we will cover outstanding mandatory business items on the March 25 meeting agenda, notably: the approval of the record of proceedings of the 2023 AGM, the receipt of the branch’s financial information and the election of the branch executive.
Your participation is important to ensure we can elect a new branch executive and revitalize the branch for years to come.
