The Bluewater Branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees each year recognizes a member or members of its branch for outstanding volunteer efforts to the branch or to the member’s community. Many of our members contribute considerable time and effort volunteering.
The board asks for you to nominate your peers - the people who you feel have demonstrated outstanding volunteer acts.
Candidates must be branch members in good standing. Submissions should detail the member's volunteer service as well as rationale as to why this member is a good candidate for recognition. Although not necessary to receive the award, we would like permission to publish the members name and some information on our web site.
Submissions for this award should be sent to the Branch, before January 31st of each year, by e-mail (fsna.bluewater@gmail.com) or regular mail (Federal Retirees, Bluewater Branch, PO Box 263 STN Main, Sarnia, ON N7T 7H9).
The submissions will be reviewed by a small committee and the selected recipient announced at our Annual General Meeting.
